Kelly W. Johnston, Attorney at Law Of counsel to Neustrom & Associates
Kelly Johnston graduated from KU School of Law in the summer of 1979 and began practicing law in Wichita with his father, James P. Johnston in September 1979. In 2000, his daughter Shayla joined the firm until 2013. Kelly is now Of Counsel to Neustrom & Associates, where he has been associated since January 2015, but also still hangs out his shingle in Wichita. He primarily handles workers compensation claims, and personal injury. Kelly was president of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association in 1996-97, and served on the Kansas Wildlife & Parks Comm. from 2003 – 2010. Kelly has five times argued cases before the Kansas Supreme Court, most recently winning Cole v. Mayans, 276 Kan. 866 (2003). Kelly is a published poet, and enjoys tennis, hunting and fishing, and introducing his grandchildren to the Kansas wilds.
Kelly meets our clients in Salina, but resides in Kechi, Ks. where he also has his own law practice.
